Project: NKBA Headquarters (National Kitchen & Bath Association) – Hackettstown, NJ
Size: Two-Story, Owner Occupied Building – 10,500 SF
Mission: To provide more light and efficiency to this thriving organization, while adding modern amenities and contemporary surroundings conducive to today’s business practices.
Business Goals: Maximize the building’s footprint and create areas for collaboration while enabling teams to work most productively.
Value Added:
- Reduced the number of private offices & added glass fronts to the remaining C-Suite allowing natural light to flow through the open office environment.
- Designed low-walled workstations with the top panel produced of clear glass to offer a modern atmosphere of inclusiveness.
- Infused their strong brand throughout the space through accent walls, chair fabrics and a custom-made entrance mat.
- Created LVT wood grain walkways throughout the space to enhance their nature infused environment, while adding textural wall covering accents and a custom mural to increase their ROI and decrease their ongoing lifecycle and maintenance costs.
Benefits Realized:
- Increased workstations by 25%, thus decreasing their square footage overhead costs per employee.
- Created a Member Engagement Center allowing the heavy phone users an encouraging environment to be most productive.
- Added two intimate meeting rooms, a huddle room and a café style kitchen, inclusive of custom benching and standard and bar height communal tables.
- Created a beverage center and open copy area centralized to all workstations.
