Functional art is art that serves a practical purpose while also being aesthetically pleasing, blending utility and creativity. TeamPAR created functional art within the Allen Center for the Creative Arts and Technology in various ways.
- Acoustical planks were installed under the stairwell that imitate real wood, creating ambiance through texture and adding valuable acoustical control.
- A 15’ high “H” was created with biophilia and acoustical materials to add school spirit and elicit peace and warmth, as it helps absorb sound bounce in this grand staircase.
- In collaboration with Fi Interiors, we created a custom composition that blended artistry, technology and practicality—creating lit art supported by fabric graphics. The final composition turns a once-blank wall into a vibrant, layered gallery that greets visitors with energy and pride.
