The year is 2020…wow, that sounds big and important. Honestly, to me, it sounds like the era of The Jetsons that I used to watch when I was a child. The age of hand-held devices and instant information is not that old, but technology is advancing as fast as we blink, and we are forgetting how to interact and work without it.
We all have the best of intentions and set New Year’s resolutions that are farfetched or easily broken before the middle of January. Instead, I am suggesting we be kind to ourselves and to each other and use our time in 2020 in small meaningful ways. We are all experiencing information overload and in an election year, this will only get worse. Patience, acceptance of each other’s differences, and active listening are all great goals of mine. Here are a few other topics I have put on my top 20 list for 2020. Tell me…what are yours?
1. CRE predictions are good in 2020: Stability among uncertainty as per the CBRE US Market Outlook. Read more and plan your strategies for career success!
2. Establish 2 WIGS (Wildly Important Goals): One for business & one for your personal life. Outline the steps you need to take to achieve these goals and give yourself a realistic deadline (that you mark on your calendar.) YOU GOT THIS!

4. Be kind to yourself. Drink 100 ounces of water TODAY and make it a new healthy daily habit.
