TeamPAR had the privilege of working with the prestigious Lawrenceville School to maximize an office utilized by a team of three professionals. The project presented itself with unique challenges….
- These professionals work together in a collaborative way but dually need privacy to conduct confidential phone calls.
- They require a lot of unique space to collate and store marketing materials.
- Their office is in a historic building of character and our choices need to blend with its environment.
- Two large, handsome windows grace the small room offering natural light (but stealing precious wall space.)
TeamPAR got to work! PARsolutions created design boards with finish material options and space planning layouts. PARflooring found the right, high performance carpeting that was both rich in texture and compatible in color to the fabrics covering the panel system separating the work areas. TeamPAR chose to work with Milton Terry, a trusted partner in the furniture industry, to supply and install the selected furnishings.
Here are a few things we did to answer their needs….
- PARsolutions chose a panel system comprised of stacking modules by This allowed us to incorporate glass modules at the top of each panel allowing for natural light to filter through the space and for the officemates to see each other while granting them privacy for phone calls.
- PARsolutions incorporated the Evolve frosted plexi-glass sliding door to add more privacy, when needed, but allow the space to otherwise remain open and airy.
- PARsolutions had bookshelves built in to the notches in the room and a matching copy and collation station designed for shared usage. These features, along with the desks, were chosen in a warm cherry laminate to carry the traditional feel of wood into this room found throughout the historic building.
