Our 17th Annual Toy Drive was a HUGE Success…
Thanks to some amazing Selfless Elves!
Now in its 17th year, the TeamPAR Annual Toy Drive was a success once again, this time bringing in a record number of toys, plus $1,455 worth of gift cards and cash donations – all to benefit the Jersey Battered Women’s Service. This donation is anticipated to support more than 450 children and 225 families this year through the JBWS holiday boutique. Shelter mothers and grandmothers can then “shop” at no cost, selecting three to six items for each child, including gift cards and wrapping paper.
According to JBWS, TeamPAR’s haul – which included 14 scooters, five bicycles, 12 cases of diapers, eight Crayola building blocks sets and bags and boxes full of toys, in addition to the monetary contributions – filled an entire 24-foot box truck.
