Our 16th Annual Toy Drive was a HUGE Success…

Thanks to some amazing Selfless Elves!

Now in its 16^th year, the TeamPAR Annual Toy Drive was a success once again, this time bringing in a record number of toys, plus $670 in cash and checks, more than $1,500 in gift cards, and more – all to benefit the Jersey Battered Women’s Service holiday shop. The shelter, which supports more than 400 children and 200 families annually, creates a holiday boutique every year, where mothers and grandmothers get to shop and select between three and six items for each of their children. They even get to leave the shop with gift cards and wrapping paper in hand. This year our Toy Drive assisted approximately 180 families, serving about 391 children.

According to JBWS, TeamPAR’s haul – which included three bicycles, 20 new coats and more than 90 bags and boxes full of toys, in addition to the monetary contributions – filled an entire 24-foot box truck and is enough to stock 50% of the holiday shop.

We have been told by JBWS that TeamPAR’s donations equal 50% of the “boutique” that they create for those in need.  WE CAN BE VERY PROUD OF THAT!

Toy drive originators & organizers for the 16th year in a row!

The chief merrry-makers at TeamPAR for the 16th year… Spent hours upon hours coordinating the toy drive and donation pick-ups along with making their donation of $500 worth of needed coats and underwear.

CREW-NJ & TeamPAR started the annual toy drive together in 2000.

Once again, we have had great success in our annual toy drive to help support JBWS. AFTER 16 YEARS, THEY ARE STILL LOYAL TO JBWS, AND TEAMPAR IS VERY GRATEFUL. Thank you to CREW-NJ, one of our very selfless elves!.

Thanks to some amazing SELFLESS ELVES TeamPAR’s 16th Annual Toy Drive was a GREAT SUCCESS! Today we celebrate all of our elves at The Turtle Back Zoo! They accept new toys, canned goods & gently used coats in lieu of admissions during the holiday season. They graciously give their toy donations to TeamPAR to support JBWS’s holiday initiatives. See a picture of TeamPAR’s “mass” toy collections… The Turtle Back Zoo represents about 40% of it… wow! Thank you for all of your support!
