Last year, we were thrilled and honored to share that we were named to the list of 2022 NJBIZ Leaders in Real Estate, Construction and Design organizations. The award recognizes individuals and companies changing New Jersey’s commercial real estate landscape through development, design, construction, project management, and more.
As part of the process, TeamPAR was asked to share a professional accomplishment from the last 36 months. We highlighted our work to transform the Lakeland Hills YMCA Welcome Center on a tight budget without increasing the building’s footprint.
We want to share why this project is so meaningful to us.
Approaching this project was challenging. We wanted to keep the essence of our design while crunching numbers and value-engineering every component to add value without compromise as we lived within the organization’s fundraising capabilities. From establishing wayfinding, space planning, and adding a fresh color palette, we were proud to help the YMCA create a space that will enable their patrons to come together as a community.
The YMCA space was dedicated in memory of longtime volunteer, Kris Joganow, and outstanding decades of achievements hard won by Coach Kira Cruz and the LHY Swim Team. This renovation has enabled clubs and community members to come together at the YMCA, and the inclusion of a coffee bar offers a revenue stream.
