Hector Santiago, born and raised in Newark, NJ, is a professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels.  A local boy making it BIG is a cool enough story, right?  It gets better!  Those of you who are clients of PARflooring have no doubt had flooring over the years installed by his father, Hector Santiago, Sr.  Let’s sweeten the pot — Recently, PARflooring, in partnership with Corporate Contracting, Inc., completed the fit out of the state of the art studios for MLB Network in Secaucus, NJ.  The Los Angeles Angels played the Yankees in New York this month, and while Hector Santiago was so close to home the MLB Network invited our local boy over for an interview.

This humble, 2015 American League All Star Team Pitcher surprises us and discusses our flooring installation during the interview and they even show a picture of our flooring!  Way to keep it real man — unbelievable!  TeamPAR is very proud of Hector Santiago’s accomplishments and loves what he is doing philanthropically for the little league in Newark and through Santiago’s Soldiers.  He is paying it forward and not forgetting where he came from.  Now, how do we get you traded to the Yankees?!

Since the interview, Hector Santiago was traded to the Minnesota Twins. On August 1, 2016 Santiago went from being the boy from the Garden State to the All Star for the City of Angels to the pride of the North Star State! Nevertheless, Hector Santiago will always have a spot on TeamPAR!
